Artemis Woman Supports Breast Cancer Research

From the beginning, Ann and Lisa made the decision that their company would be different -- a company created by women for women and supporting women's issues. At the forefront was breast cancer, an issue close and personal.

Artemis Woman states on every package that we donate 2% of profits to support alternative treatments and screenings for women's cancers. Ann and Lisa have made donations every year, even in the early, before-profit days, and they usually add up to more than 2%. But who's counting? Well, we are. By tooting our own horn, we hope consumers will notice and buy our products to help us continue this support. A win-win for all.

Since October 2007, Artemis Woman joined forces with the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation http://www.dslrf.org/, based in Pacific Palisades, California. What makes this organization different is the type of research they do which has the potential to create new methods of breast cancer risk assessment, prevention, detection and treatment.
